Employee Referral Program Details 

* This policy also refers to contractors and wherever an employee is mentioned it relates to a contractor, with the required adjustments.

Purpose: The purpose of the Referral Bonus Program is to provide an incentive award to current, full time employees, who bring new talent to Varonis by referring applicants subsequently selected and successfully engaged in hard-to-fill positions.

Valid Opening: Only full-time positions for an indefinite term are included in the Referral Program and the Varonis Recruiting Team will indicate these positions.

How to make a Referral: In order to submit a referral to the Recruiting Team, please refer them through our recruiting system, Jobvite.

Referral Bonus: When a regular full-time employee recommends a qualified individual for a Valid Opening and the referral is engaged as a regular full-time employee, a referral bonus will be paid at the amount detailed below.

The Referral Bonus is gross payment and is subject to tax withholding pursuant to the applicable law.

The Referral Bonus will be paid in two equal installments - the first installment will be paid after 3 months of engagement and the second installment after 6 months of engagement.

Varonis must employ both of the employees, the one who made the recommendation and the hired employee, at the time the bonus payment is made. If either employee no longer work for Varonis, the bonus is no longer applicable and will not be paid out. Bonus payouts will be deferred if either employee is on a leave of absence; the payment will be dispersed when the employee is back from the leave of absence.

Multiple Referrals Bonus: An employee who referred at least three candidates, who were engaged by Varonis in the same calendar year, shall be entitled to a Multiple Referrals Bonus at the amount of 2,000 USD (in addition to the three Referral Bonuses for each of the references). The Multiple Referrals Bonus shall be paid upon the completion of the later of the two: the calendar year or 6 months of engagement of the last reference.

Clashes:

• If an application was referred through Jobvite during the 12 months prior to the referral by the employee, then no Referral Bonus will be paid.
• The referral will remain on the employee’s name for 12 months after making the referral.
• In the event an applicant is referred from more than one source, the deciding factor will be the date of receipt of the first referral in Jobvite subject to the above provisions.

The recruiters will inform the participating parties when such situations arise.

Excluded employees: Employees who are not eligible to participate in the Referral Program:

• Direct Manager of the referred employee
• Director Level and above positons
• An employee who was involved in the recruitment decision making process
• HR Employees

Bonus amounts and eligibility factors are subject to change based on Varonis business and economic needs.
