Life and Accident Insurance 

This coverage provides group term life insurance.

Payment will be made to your designated beneficiary if you die while the policy is in effect. Please be sure to designate a beneficiary through the ESC.

• This coverage also provides group personal accidental insurance (PAI) to those who are eligible. Basic PAI coverage provides benefits for total disability or death occurring within 365 days of a covered accident, or for the accidental loss of a limb or eyesight. (PAI coverage may also be known as Accidental Death and Dismemberment or "AD&D" coverage.) With basic PAI coverage, you are covered on the job or off the job, at home or away from home. 
• There is no cost for basic term life and personal accident insurance (PAI) coverage, since the coverage is employer-paid.
